How to donate

If you are interested in donating to our Foundation, please email us at info@seawf.com.

As a small organization on a small island it will be very difficult if not impossible to be self supporting in every aspect.

Operating costs are a major problem for many small foundations. Costs for transporting animals and volunteers (fuel, insurance, road tax, maintenance), communication costs, food for animals, household goods and many more are a major burden for us. So, financial help is appreciated very much.

Cash Donations

Cash donations can be made to any of the board members (see: About Us).

The AWF has a local bank account at the Winward Islands Bank, Mazinga Square, St. Eustatius, Bank account information is available on request for qualified funding organizations.

The Dutch bank account is ABN-AMRO. Bank account information is available on request for qualified funding organizations.

Please mention: inzake St. Eustatius Animal Welfare Foundation.

American citizens can donate money through the bank account of the IVA (International Veterinary Assistance), a formal US registered 501 charity. Please mention: "on behalf of the St. Eustatius Animal Welfare Foundation".

Donating Medication, materials, equipment

Please send us an E-mail (info@seawf.com) to receive an up to date list of items we can use. Items we can use most of the time include sterile gloves, gauzes, syringes, needles and medication against bacterial and worm infections.

PLEASE DON'T SEND ANY ITEMS YOURSELF! We can get discounts on shipping costs (and often, volunteers can take materials with them for free) and we have local representatives in the Netherlands to assist you and us.

Volunteer help

Volunteers will be needed on a continuing basis. If you are a qualified and experienced vet or recently finished school without any additional experience: if you love animals, are enthusiastic and flexible and willing to spend at least two weeks on St. Eustatius you can be of help. Make sure you visit the page: "Being an AWF volunteer on St. Eustatius". In case of any questions: mail us!
